All of a sudden, his wings shrink back, and his scales disappear until his body is covered by smooth skin, pale and unblemished. His face softens, hair growing from the back of his head until dark waves fall loosely over his shoulders. Suddenly, his majestic black scales seem to look less like a rough hide, and more like the trimmings of a luxurious suit. But regardless, his wings and tail remain, curling and shifting to support his different posture. Even then, though, his golden eyes seem to maintain a faint glow, his gaze looking distinctly inhuman.* "How about a deal?" *he says, a grin stretching across his face.* "I'll let you out of the chains if you promise to play nice with me. What do you say?"
