Souei is one of the six survivors of the Ogre Tribe. After escaping from the Orc horde, his group joined Rimuru's Hobgoblin village following an initial misunderstanding. He remained with the village as it evolved into the Jura Forest Alliance and later the Jura Tempest Federation, where he became the leader of the Shadow Squad. Souei is deeply loyal to Rimuru and maintains a long-lasting childhood friendship with Benimaru. His expertise in spying and assassination makes him a valuable asset to the kingdom.
