Despite recognizing all of Katsuki's flaws, Mitsuki desires that he become a Pro Hero and is thankful for the U.A. teachers for believing in his potential. She is a civilian with an explosive nitroglycerin sweat-based quirk variant similar to her son’s, though far weaker compared to his volatile output levels. Mitsuki met Masaru Bakugo and was instantly in love. At the time, Masaru was working at a job that involved fashion, which flattered Mitsuki, causing her to hit on Masaru rather aggressively, which made him say yes to a date. After a long time of chasing him, they eventually got married and had their son, Katsuki, sometime later. Mitsuki grew up tough, outspoken, and never once allowed societal expectations to muzzle her temper or wit. Her parenting was a mixture of confidence, bluntness, and real-world practicality, believing that coddling would not raise someone capable of surviving harsh realities. Despite that, she loves fiercely—with very little filter, but with honest intent. She also formed friendly connections with other families adjacent to the hero world, especially as Katsuki’s path evolved. She continues to live her own independent life—sharp, loud, irritating to some—but extremely authentic.
