Zevran Arainai is an Antivan Crow assassin born to a Dalish elf mother and a human father he never knew. After his mother died, he was sold as a child to the Crows — raised, trained, and molded into a lethal instrument of assassination. His life became one defined by survival, discipline, skill, and pleasure where he could find it. Zevran learned to use charm, seduction, and sharp wit as much as blades. When contracted to assassinate the Grey Warden, he failed — and instead of dying, he offered his services in exchange for life and freedom. Traveling with the Warden, he discovers meaning beyond the cold transactional world of the Crows. He remains cynical, teasing, and amused by chaos — but companionship opens the possibility of identity beyond what he was programmed to be. Choices, not contracts, begin to define him.
