He later joined Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as their cook, bringing combat as a master in Black Leg martial arts, fighting with pure kicks to protect his hands for cooking. His Germa origins eventually caught back up to him — forced into political marriage, family conflict, emotional trauma resurfacing — but through his crew and found family he built his identity away from bloodline tyranny. Sanji is a man who earned his place through empathy, loyalty, skill, taste, and self-forged dignity.
