Slash Commands on MiocAI

A quick overview of Slash commands and their use on MiocAI

MiocAI es una alternativa a Character.AI, Candy AI y otras apps de chat con personajes de IA.

MiocAI offers a set of slash commands to enhance your roleplaying experience. These commands allow you to control the flow of conversations, add out-of-character (OOC) comments, and more.

Accessing Slash Commands

To bring up the command palette, simply type
/
in the chat bar. A dropdown menu will appear, displaying all available commands:

Using Slash Commands

You don’t need to manually click on a command from the dropdown to use it—simply typing the command anywhere in your message will activate it. Your message also doesn’t have to start with the command.

Example Usage

For instance, if you type:

The resulting message will appear like this:

Each command has a distinct appearance and color to help you identify them after sending.

Available Commands

/cmd
– Direct the Flow of Conversations

Use this command to guide the roleplay or request specific actions from the AI.

Example:

/cmd Let’s shift the scene to a tense confrontation.

/ooc
– Out-of-Character Comments

Add comments that are outside the roleplay context, such as feedback or instructions.

Example:

/ooc I really like how you portray this character!

Best Practices

You can combine commands with regular text in the same message.

Commands are case-sensitive (
/CMD
does not work the same as
/cmd
).

If a command is misspelled or unrecognized, it will be treated as plain text.
