Public vs Private

MiocAI, much like many other platforms, allows you to set your character to public or private. But MiocAI, unlike many other platforms, offers sets of benefits to both creating a private and a public bot.

Public bots will rake you credits which you can use for images, and rakes up your trust-score, which allows you to do more! Private bots on the other hand are encrypted, offering a rare degree of privacy. Privacy is what we thrive on after all.

Going Public

If youre all about publicity (and could use a few credits) then making your character public may be a viable option. Public means it may show up in the character browser, may randomly appear to users, and can be commented on and shared by people. Additionally, for every favorite you get, you receive a credit, with milestones doubling down on them!

It’s a great way to join the community, show off your prompting skills, and build a reputation. Essentially, if you want the world to see your character, Public is the way to go.

Just a headsup, any breach of the rules is judged much harder on a public character. Try to stay within our rules!

Going Private

However, not all characters are meant for the spotlight. If you are crafting a bot for personal use, testing a complex persona, or engaging in sensitive roleplays, the Private setting is where MiocAI shines.

This is where MiocAI truly differentiates itself. Private characters are encrypted.

While some platforms might simply "hide" a bot from a search list, MiocAI goes further by encrypting the character data. This ensures that your private creations are locked away in a digital vault, accessible by you and only you.

When you set a character to Private: * Total Exclusion: It is completely scrubbed from the "Discover" browser and will never pop up in random character selection. * Ironclad Access Control: No other user can view, chat with, or favorite your character. The system strictly blocks anyone who isn't the author from accessing the data. * Safe Duplication: If you decide to copy or "translate" a private character to tweak them, the system automatically keeps the new copy private. You never have to worry about accidentally leaking your personal bots to the public.

Ultimately, the choice depends on what you value most for that specific creation.

If you want to earn credits, watch your favorites count rise, and contribute to the community, Public is your stage. But if you need a secure, encrypted sanctuary for your most sensitive or personal chats, Private offers a level of safety that is hard to find elsewhere.
